How to listen to a podcast
On your phone
If your smartphone does not have a podcast app, you can begin downloading either Apple Podcasts or Google Podcasts (for iPhone users). Spotify works on both iPhones and Androids, but you need to create an account if you don’t have one.
Then you can search and find out which type of podcast you want to listen to by using the search function of the app usually located at the bottom of your app’s screen (look and click on the magnifying glass icon).
Then tap on podcast episode press and play for listening, here you go! You can skip ahead 15 seconds and rewind back 15 seconds by tapping on the Fast Forward button and rewind button when you listening to the podcast episode.
On your Personal Computer
I will tell here a few ways to listen to podcasts on your Personal computer or laptop:
Listen to podcasts directly from a podcast website. For Example, go to the Be Connected podcast website on your computer or laptop and analyze the episodes that you want to listen to.
Some podcast apps like Google podcasts or Spotify have web versions you can browse and use their podcasts without needing an account, but if you want to listen to any podcast then you will need to make a new account if you don’t have any.
Some podcast apps like Apple Podcasts and Spotify are also available for the PC and Laptops so you can download and use them to listen to podcasts. Apple podcasts app is only for Apple Laptops while Spotify is for Apple and Windows 10 both.

If you like any podcast episode then you can Subscribe or Follow its podcast if you want to receive auto notifications for every new episode like this. Look for the + symbol for Follow or Subscribe.

Most people use their phones or mobiles because it is easy to use, but you can also listen to podcasts by using your laptop and PC (Personal Computer) But it can be difficult for you to sit in front of a laptop or PC to listen to the podcast.
Internet Connection
You need a connection to the internet to listen to and download podcasts, but you can listen offline to the podcasts that are downloaded by you in your accessory or device.
A Podcast website or app
A podcast app looks like a library where hundreds and thousands of podcasts are available for you to choose from. For example, the most popular podcast apps, such as Google podcasts, Spotify, and Apple podcasts, are only for Apple users.
If you have an account of Gmail then you can access to Google Podcasts easily with your same username or password.
Most smartphone versions come with a built-in podcast app, however, if you don’t have any then you can download it from your device store app for Android there is Google Play, and for Apple is the App Store.
Most people use podcast apps for listening to podcasts on their phones but there are also website versions you can use them in Chrome but we prefer the website version for desktops.

How to save podcasts while listening
You need an internet connection to listen to podcasts either mobile data or Home Wi-Fi. So, it will take a lot of data if you plan to listen to a lot of podcasts on your phone.
The trick to saving your mobile data is that listen to podcasts when you are at home on Wi-Fi. Take advantage of Home Wi-Fi and you can only listen and also download them to listen to them later.
To download a podcast to your smartphone, go to the podcast episode that you want to download and see the find-down arrow icon, and tap on it. It will download.
